Structural Design for Residential Addition – Toronto
Parsways Inc. provided structural engineering services for a residential addition to an existing detached dwelling in Toronto (Scarborough), Ontario. The scope included foundation design, structural framing, and coordination between the new structure and the existing building system.
The design was prepared in accordance with the Ontario Building Code (OBC 2024) and applicable CSA standards, as part of a building permit submission package.

1. The Challenge

2. The Engineering Solution
